Welcome to PKH

Our message is simple, "God is good and you have purpose." To truly receive this, our focus is to peel back the pain and trauma that hinders us from truly flourishing. WE HAVE TO BE HONEST, our goal is not that you are pain free; but that you learn to STOP letting your wounds determine your walk.

"I survived it, so can you!"

Pastor Ken speaks from scars, not slogans. Unlike many voices in the healing space, Ken brings together extraordinary lived experience, doctoral-level counseling and coaching expertise, pastoral leadership, and biblical truth.

His journey through trauma, abuse, addiction, grief, military service, chronic illness, and recovery enables him to connect with people from virtually every walk of life, offering hope that's authentic, compassionate, and grounded in both experience and expertise.

How Can We Help?

STOP LIVING WOUNDED

INDIVIDUAL CARE

That which is healthy, produces healthy. That which lives wounded, wound others. It's still true that hurting people hurt people.

STOP LOVING WOUNDED

COUPLE CARE

Relationships don’t fall apart because two people are unlovable—they fracture because two people keep loving from unhealed places.

STOP LEADING WOUNDED

MINISTRY CARE

Too many leaders are carrying people and organizations while quietly collapsing inside. Whether you need personal care or team building, we got you.

What Ministry Organizers Said

"Thank you so much for speaking at our law enforcement appreciation event. Your words were very inspiring."

D. Sedelnyer, Event Director

"Change is inevitable. Growth is optional."
John Maxwell

The message of healing resonates with individuals and leaders who are faithful in ministry but stuck in life. While most prefer 4 steps to this, or 6 steps in achieving that because it simplifies a problem, but the realistic truth is this, "in life or leadership, purpose drives productivity and pain prevents it." Bottom line, avoiding pain is birthing problems.

Whether a lay person, pastor, or ministry, our fourfold approach is to identify:

1. Pain: What unresolved wound is hurting in your life or ministry?

2. Presence: How can we invite a practical application of the Spirit in?

3. Potential: In most cases, our future potential is tied to our past healing.

4. Purpose: When purpose (mission, vision, drive) is restored, success is inevitable.

Support the Message

Most People are not aware that their past pain has infected their present production.

In the Greek, trauma is the word "wound." A wound is the lingering, unresolved, after effects of an injury or perceived abuse. This is key, it does not matter if that injury or abuse occurred from an individual, or an organization. This wound has extreme implications with how you live, love, and lead as an adult. Learn to tear down wounds and demolish strongholds at MasterLife University.

STOP CHASING THE WIND

Ken spent a lifetime running from what he describes as an inner emptiness. Raped as a kid, beaten by an alcoholic step-dad, the death of four children, the murder of his recruiting professor, and the bitterness of a second divorce to name a few, all attributed to a "chasing the wind" lifestyle: Doing everything but achieving nothing. In this refreshingly easy to read book, STOP CHASING THE WIND will help you discover a simple truth that will change the course of your life; what if your pain is the catalyst to your purpose?

BROKEN VISION

This simple book primarily focuses on the need to have a clear understanding of building a healthy vision for creating a thriving community and culture. It is a brutal exploration and warning to every church or ministry - culture matters!

It’s also the, “I wish someone had warned me” statement" of  what occurred as the vision became blurred and how a blurred vision ultimately lead to a broken ministry.
